Bad Spring Weather Activities To Keep You Busy
The change of seasons affects the way people feel. In winter for example you can find people that enjoy the snow by doing some activities like snowboard or ski or even hiking in the mountains. You can also find people that plan their vacation during the winter visiting cottages and making a fire that makes them feel warm. There are also people that enjoy staying in the house during winter and watch the view and the snow falling. On the other hand there are people that don’t like winter and prefer a warmer climate. The thing is that everyone enjoys the start of the spring season where the snow melts and the sun is bringing life to nature and flowers.
However, spring has the same effect on humans as on nature. Most of us like the fact that snow starts to melt and the sun rays are starting to bring light and warmth back to our lives. It is the nicest time of the year. Animals also react during spring time as they come out of their winter homes and start spending time in nature. Flowers blossom and there are many changes that happen that show spring is near. One thing that happens during spring and can alter our attitude is the fact that there are many cold intervals. This is natural and cannot be controlled. You can control only the things you do during this weather.
I think the best thing to do in the case of running in to a bout of cold spring weather is to treat it as though it did not come at all. I recommend going and having a picnic or a barbeque at a local park that will allow you to make a camp fire. Pick a nice sunny day if it is warm all the better but it does not have to be. Load some wood into the car and put together some hotdogs, hamburgers or what ever else you may feel like and head down to the park. Take some games and things to do; maybe a football to toss or cross-country skis for some nice leisurely physical activity. The first thing you are going to want to do is start your fire. You will need it to stay warm and comfortable so it is best to get it going right away. Spend the afternoon with you partner in the park under a sunny sky and imagine it is summer. It really is not that hard to do. Just getting out will do so much for your moral and spirits and who does not love hamburgers and hotdogs?
Have you heard of snowshoes? Snowshoes are shoes especially designed for walking distances in the snow. They look like tennis rackets and they have a way to be adjusted to your shoes and allow you to cover long distances on foot. This way they spread your weight and make it easy for you to walk without getting tired. If you enjoy hiking in the summer, you can also try this kind of walking that will help you get the same feeling.
So these activities will surely make bad weather seem nicer. At least there is something to do. So the next time you hear that it is going to be a little colder, load your car with wood and go have your camp fire picnic. You will certainly enjoy it. Be careful to check he weather as sometimes during spring the air is very cold or it is very windy and you cannot possibly enjoy having a picnic. If there is still snow in your area, but there is a bright sun coming out, try snow shoes. They are great and you have definitely not done it before.
