Other options to delivery
It is pretty much agreed that the usual way to have a baby is when you deliver in a hospital.Or to be more exact, most people assume that when you deliver a baby that medicine is required. In this piece we are going to try to shatter some of those assumptions. We are going to show you some other methods that might prove to be better.
Of course these observations are going to be coming from the viewpoint of my experience running a San Diego licensed midwife service. If you don’t know midwives in general are women who help other women during the delivery of a baby.Usually all the time without needing to use medicines in a homebirth.
So why are women choosing this method of delivery? For the many women that go with this method and understand it, it is because of several reasons.
First thing to consider is when no medicine is used, it usually makes the labor and delivery happen a lot quicker.Quite a few women don’t understand that when you use medicine it makes the labor slow down.Women want to use it because they think it stops the pain, but it actually makes the pain last longer. There are many certified midwives in San Diego who can show you proof of that.
Second, the use of the natural method and sometimes through waterbirth actually helps soothe and relax the bodies during delivery. This produces a delivery with less pain and makes having the delivery occur much faster. I have seen it as a homebirth midwife San Diego.
Those are just the beginning of many reasons that women have chosen a homebirth rather than the usual method of delivery.Even though there is no use of medicine and doctors aren’t usually present, it is still a safe alternative. When the delivery is in the home, it helps foster a more private and personal environment. Rather than in a hospital where there are several people who poke and prod through the labor. So for those few reasons, a lot of women are going the homebirth route. It is a dignified and safe way and a process that is natural.

Surprising choices during pregnancy
One of the most precious times for a woman’s life is pregnancy.Quite a few women desire to have children. It is during those pregnancy months that those desires start to now come true.
During the pregnancy plenty of choices and decisions are going to have to be made. One of the things to think about is which method of delivery will be used.It is a little strange to imply that there are different options be there are. A lot of women usually go with using medicine to help deliver a baby. But there is a strong movement of women who make the choice of going natural. In other words no use of medicine to help with the delivery. I have seen this from first hand experience as a San Diego midwife. It is taken from that experience that I am going to express various benefits.
Now how come more and more women are deciding on having no medicine for delivery.A few reasons. First of all most women are realizing using medicine actually slows down the pregnancy. When you are in pain and want to deliver as fast as possible, medicine defeats the purpose. Many women are starting to realize that. What a lot of women fail to understand is that they are able to do it in that fashion. If they decide to go that route, they can decide on going with a midwife. In my part of the country there are quite a few midwives in San Diego.
A midwife is able to help a woman gently deliver. They have the option of going with a waterbirth. Waterbirth is the use of water to aid in soothing the pain and helping the delivery.
Also if a woman chooses, a midwife can help if they choose to deliver at home. Once again you can find a homebirth midwife in San Diego if you look.
The benefits of doing it at home is a relaxed and a less stressful environment. These two benefits alone make it inviting to have it naturally. If you are pregnant, it might be a choice you would want to make.

What is a homebirth
Having a baby is the one of the most precious moments for a woman. The happiness of being able to deliver a new life is like nothing else.Although it has an enormous amount of pain, most women agree that it is well worth it.
As a San Diego midwife I would like to share with you a method that you might not be aware of. It is called waterbirth.
Waterbirth of all the methods of delivery has been described as one of the gentlest of methods. It requires the use of a heatedwater bath or a pool.A few woman will just use the water for the pain of the labor part. This is done because the water that is heated is very pain relieving. It is soothing to the tissues.
Other women also use it to deliver the baby. They stay in the water all the way through delivery.Even going through it all including delivering the placenta.
The entire procedure is usually administered by someone that is referred to as a midwife. If you are in San Diego there are plenty of midwives San Diego. You will want to find an experienced one.
Why do quite a few women pick this way of delivering over the hosptial method? As mentioned previously, it is very painful the labor and delivery part.A lot of women nowadays use drugs to lessen the pain. But for quite a few women they do not want to introduce drugs into their body in fear of harming the baby.Using waterbirth for delivery helps ease some of the pain. Because of the
heated water it soothes the tissues and helps with the pain.
Most women will have this done through a natural process. They won’t ask or use any drugs to help lessen the pain of labor and delivery.Often what this does is cause the labor and delivery to happen a lot faster.Because using drugs actually can cause the labor to slow down.
It is actually a very safe alternative of delivery. For some women who are wanting to have their baby naturally this might be a choice to go with. I have seen many happy deliveries as a San Diego licensed midwife. All it takes for a woman is to research and see
how safe it is.

How to have a natural birth
One of the sad effects of our modern day and age in medicine is how birth and delivery have become a medical procedure.
That may sound strange because most people consider delivery to be a medical event. But that is the big problem. It isn’t a medical event. It is an occassion that can be kept as private and as natural as possible through alternate methods. Women
should be made aware that there are alternatives.
I would like to present one of those main alternatives from the perspective of a San Diego midwife.
That main way is by having a midwife assist you in a homebirth during your delivery. This practice is known as midwifery and there are plenty of midwives San Diego.
As the amount of c-sections and induction rates rise in hospitals, it has transformed a very happy moment of delivery into a possible negative experience.
That is one of the primary reasons for the surge in women asking for more natural deliveries through a certified or licensed midwife.
Birth and the delivery shouldn’t necessarily include drugs, invasive procedures, private areas constantly being probled, etc. It can be done safely and effectively in a home environment through that homebirth method or even a waterbirth San Diego method.
It’s definitely an industry that is regulated highly. You are able to know of the skill and experience of any midwife you may consider hiring.
But getting past the stigma of passing up having the baby in the hospital takes education. But most women can see if they looked and through experience that statistics prove that a good amount of times having a baby in a hospital can negatively effect the process. From the drugs they use to slow down pregnancy, or use to speed the pregnancy. To having to be put through a c-section.Hopefully women are able to contrast and compare and see that there are successes in using a midwife.
So for women who seek to keep a birth and delivery a happy occasion, midwifery might be something to look into.
With the dawn of the internet age, being able to find information about the natural process is as simple as doing a search on the internet.
There they will be able to find useful information that will help them understand the process fully. They can see the safey issues and how they are addressed. And most of all they can see how they can truly keep child birth a momentous occasion that can happily and privately as possible.
