Basic Exercise Tips To Stay Trim Over The Holidays
This is the one time of year when we can all indulge in our favourite foods and pig out for a good few days without having to worry about it. Anyone looking to start a new diet is not going to decide to begin right before the festive holidays. In fact anyone on a regular diet is very likely going to struggle for most of December. So we’ve established that actually loosing weight over Christmas is not going to be easy but it is perfectly possible to get through to the new year without doubling your dress size.
Many of us over Christmas are probably looking forward to chilling out in front of the television so this is the perfect chance to try a few exercises. Each time the commercial breaks come on try doing some simple exercises like some push ups and try and beat your record during the next ad break. I don’t recommend you do this all day but maybe just for a couple of hours. Alternatively try investing in a power plate. This were originally used by Russian astronauts and they’re designed to tone muscles and get rid of excess body fat. Better still power plates will still show results if your simple stand on them. Those who make an effort and do some exercise on them will see better results more quickly. Although vibration exercise may not be the most practical solution for some
The second you cut anything out of your diet or tell yourself you’re not allowed it you will crave it. Especially over the Christmas period you shouldn’t have any foods off limits. If you are going to let yourself have the odd treat make sure it’s something special. This will let your brain know this is a treat and not something that’s going to be happening on a regular basis. Don’t forget everything needs to be in moderation.
