Pregnancy Timeline Struggles
I want to talk about my girlfriend’s pregnancy timeline from a male’s perspective. Three month’s ago my girlfriend found out that she was pregnant. This was really great news for us. It was planned but we hadn’t been trying very long.
Early on in the pregnancy timeline it is quite easy. At the early stage. Soon though your partner will be showing pregnancy symptoms which will have an impact on you and your relationship. I hope that by forewarning you about them that you should be able to cope with it better.
OK, so what are some of the symptoms that she is showing? Women tend to get morning sickness the most and a lot of people get this on the pregnancy timeline. Even though it is called morning sickness, someone can have these symptoms at any time. My girlfriend wasn’t actually sick but was retching a lot. Having something to eat helped her.
Tiredness was the next big thing. My girlfriend went from getting up early to sleeping in longer and longer each day. It became hard work getting her out of bed in the mornings. This was something that I found difficult. Although she was more tired it is still important that she gets up can carries on with her normal activities.
It is not just in the mornings that this happens. When she arrived home from work she wouldn’t be able to get off the sofa for the whole evening! Although this shouldn’t be the same along the entire pregancy timeline you should think about changing some of the activities you do around the house.
There are other symptoms that will affect your partner. We are only just starting our second trimester so I won’t be able to list everything but you should expect… backaches, headaches, constipation, mood swings and other weird cravings.
