The Basic Facts Of Bathing Your Newborn
Bathing a newborn baby will be a disturbing incident for a first time Mom. Newborns can seem so sensitive, and damp, slippery ones absolutely frightening. But, really don’t fear; after you find the hang of it, you will really feel just like a pro. Newborns only have to be bathed 2 or 3 times a week – bathing more often may result in dry skin.
First of all, it is important not to put your new child in every kind of bath tub until her umbilical cord has fallen off. If you are the baby may be circumcised, you would like to wait until this has healed, as well. Until then, give the child a sponge bath.

Use lukewarm normal water in your baby’s tender skin, and only soaps and shampoos designed for toddlers. Have a towel and diaper ready to wrap her in immediately when you could be finished, to avoid her getting chilled.
